Cleanyourtv App v0.4.6.1

Clean Your TV app 0.4.6.1 fixes one thing: reconnecting to a TV that got a new Wi-Fi address.

The problem

After a TV software update, or on a mesh Wi-Fi, a TV can get a new address. The app only tried the address it saved the first time, so Manage stayed "Offline" and waited for the TV forever, even with debugging switched on.

The fix

When the saved address doesn't answer, the app looks for the same TV on your Wi-Fi, the way "Add a TV" does, and saves its new address. It checks it's really your TV first (the TV must recognise this phone and have the same ID), so it never connects to another TV, and a TV that already trusted your phone doesn't ask you to allow it again.

Nothing else changes from 0.4.6.

Install

Download cleanyourtv-0.4.6.1.apk below and open it on your phone (Android 9 or newer, on the same Wi-Fi as the TV). It installs over 0.4.6 and keeps everything. If you're on the 0.4.7-beta1 test build, you already have this fix.
