Release notes

Kilo Code v7.4.23

7.4.23

Minor Changes
  • #13010 b5bf1d9 - Support setting default open or collapsed state for MCP and generic tool blocks in Display settings

  • #13241 ea4f9e0 - Rework PR review comments in the Agent Manager PR panel: resolved threads now collapse into one-line rows in a Resolved group instead of being dimmed, each thread shows its replies, and every card has prominent Send to agent, Resolve, Copy, Open file, and Open on GitHub actions. A single button sends all unresolved comments to the agent, and comments arrive as structured review comments instead of pasted text.

  • #13173 53d0af7 - Open delegated subagent sessions in Agent Manager inspector tabs alongside terminals.

Patch Changes
  • #12977 b9a48bf - Fix Agent Manager project accordions that stayed on a loading indicator until you clicked into them. Expanded projects other than the active one now receive their worktrees, sessions, and git stats as soon as Agent Manager opens and again after the panel reloads. While a project is still loading, its local row and section headings stay in place and the rows below fade in as skeleton placeholders instead of showing a single centered spinner, so several projects loading at once look consistent.

  • #13230 99e0e81 - Capture @terminal from the focused Agent Manager terminal, including embedded Run and Setup terminals, instead of using an unrelated active VS Code terminal.

  • #13121 e2966ab - Keep the selected agent after switching from Ask to Code, and remind the model that previous Ask-mode restrictions no longer apply.

  • #13200 59048c4 - Keep the Agent Manager inline diff position stable while scrolling upward through large reviews

  • #13263 27ba156 - Use the remote's current default branch for diff totals and new worktrees when local Git metadata still points to a retired trunk.

  • #12542 5d713f7 Thanks @Githubguy132010! - Remove installed agents from every writable configuration source and report removal failures.

  • #13175 ae26eed - Keep provider names out of the compact prompt model selector label while retaining them in the expanded picker.

  • #13209 ff16bc2 - Keep Agent Manager terminals and nested Kilo sessions alive across configuration reloads and location idle eviction, while cleaning them up on explicit close, worktree deletion, and server shutdown.

  • #13162 8ad3f90 - Use NVIDIA Parakeet TDT 0.6B v3 as the default speech-to-text model while retaining dynamic model discovery and offline fallback support.

  • #13183 017410b - Accept JWT share tokens when importing a session from a Kilo share URL.

  • #13196 b4c8387 - Fix Agent Manager PR and base-branch worktrees when a repository uses a restrictive Git fetch refspec.

  • #13264 10b73a4 - Prevent invalid GitHub check timestamps from displaying incorrect PR durations.

  • #13261 ab08cba - Keep Agent Manager subagent inspector tabs aligned with the selected session and worktree.

  • #13168 ba2e20a - Restore incremental assistant text streaming across Kilo chat surfaces.

  • #13246 efa48c8 - Keep tool-output action buttons visible above streamed output.

  • #13262 5300ce5 - Use the displayed current branch as the base when creating a worktree from the New Worktree dialog.

  • #13158 c4dcb3d - Keep file mention suggestions current and scoped to the active workspace while preserving instant cached results.

  • #11728 2246ef7 Thanks @rakshith1928! - Typing extra text after the /memory show command (for example /memory show my notes) used to clear that text from the chat input when the command ran. The text now stays in the input so you don't lose what you typed.

  • #13156 be8b85c - Optimize Agent Manager tab switching and context transition latency

  • #13154 5b06d7d - Optimize large session loading performance and reduce reactive re-render overhead in the webview.

  • #13155 f9df66c - Optimize TaskHeader and timeline bar calculation performance in the webview.

  • #13201 bee6fb3 - Keep the Allow and Deny buttons reachable when a permission prompt contains a large diff or a long command: the prompt now scrolls its own content and shrinks with the available chat height instead of pushing its buttons out of view
