Release notes

OmniRush v3.7.8

New
  • The app now runs on the OpenCode 2 engine (2.0.32), with its standard tools and system prompt.
  • Claude Opus 5.5 is in the model picker in every project. Picking it sets up the project's sandbox and opens a Claude chat on that model (for now Claude also needs Docker or Podman on this computer). If your account doesn't have Claude yet, the app says so.
Improved
  • In a chat you can now switch to another model from the same provider. Picking a model from another provider offers to start a new chat with it, since a chat keeps one provider.
  • On a new install, switching from GPT 6 Astra to GPT 6.1 Sol in a chat works right away, without offering a new chat.
Fixed
  • When sending stalls and the app asks you to check the previous message, Stop now clears it so you can carry on without restarting.
  • A message the app refuses before it reaches a model (for example "start a new chat to use another model", an update needed, or the daily limit reached) no longer counts against your session.
  • Chats upload completely: their automatic title, sub-agent chats with their own messages, and compactions, including Compact context.
  • The Linux sandbox sets up again: setup no longer stops at "Checking this computer…", and sandbox chats run inside the box.
  • Picking a model from another provider in a started chat no longer leaves the chat stuck on it: the chat keeps its own model and can still compact.
  • Chats started before the update carry on in the new version: a new message in an older chat now gets an answer.
